Seasonal Items – Get ready to put away items you won’t need for spring weather. This includes heavy coats, boots, and scarves.

Divide everything into piles – Separate your closet into three piles: Keep, Maybe and Donate. Be sure to think about how often your wear the item, is it damaged, and how it fits you. You’ll be surprised to see how many items are just taking up space in your closet. 

Organize by category and color – This is a great way to take inventory of what staple pieces you are missing and if you need to update your wardrobe with some new colors and styles.
